The ability to harness your inner power and strength contributes greatly to having the resolve to live. Often times when we are overwhelmed by our thoughts, feelings, or unhealthy behaviors, it can feel as if no longer existing is the most viable option. However, when we take the TIME and SPACE to tap into our MIND and SOUL, we can find the POWER and will to live, even when we are battling against the odds. This year's Suicide Prevention Week will help you develop these skills and find more meaning in your life.

Monday, March 18 - The SOUL Stone - Kindness Rocks

“One message at just the right moment can change your whole day, outlook, or life.” Words have power, so does conversation. Come inspire and empower your soul through conversations. Paint a kindness rock for yourself, give it to a friend in need of some encouragement, or leave one for another to find.

Tuesday, March 19 - The POWER Stone - Fitness Classes

Physical activity is a great way to help fortify your mental health. Come join us on the Kennesaw campus for a mid-day strength training session to help us release pent up frustration from the day and to build up mental strength to power through the rest of our commitments. Followed by a Pilates class to mentally align our thoughts while physically aligning our posture and muscles. Then end the day with a Yoga class to help us find connection and balance with our mind and body. On the Marietta campus, we'll enjoy fun up beat movement that will help us destress after a full day!

Wednesday, March 20 - The SPACE Stone - Dance

Dance is proven to have a positive impact on self-image and mental health as a whole. Movement is key to living a healthy lifestyle, both mentally and physically. Learn various styles of dance as we unravel how movement contributes to maintaining mental health.

Thursday, March 21 - The MIND Stone - Bullet Journals

“A healthy mind is the key to success.” One important part of self-care is clearing your mind. Come learn about why journaling is so important and take a journal of your own to keep.

Friday, March 22 - The TIME Stone - Movie Night

We will finish out the week by watching the Avengers: Infinity War movie to celebrate the theme of the week, engage our social support systems, and get a refresher before Infinity War: End Game is released.
