Counseling & Psychological Services offers a variety of counseling services for currently

Please note that per Georgia Law, students under the age of 18 will need parent/guardian consent in order to receive counseling services.
Deciding which services best fits your needs begins with a Let's Hoot Initial Consultation. During this visit, the student and counseling therapist determine which services
would be most helpful to you. Potential options can include a referral to a group,
brief individual counseling, or referral to a community provider. Our counseling
services are free to currently enrolled students attending classes in the current
semester. Clinical Services options include:
Group counseling provides a safe and effective environment where you can learn about
yourself and how you function in relationships.
We offer short-term, goal focused counseling to currently enrolled students.
Counseling and Psychological Services will provide couples counseling if both members
of the couple are currently enrolled students attending classes in the current semester.
Psychiatric clinicians are available to assist students experiencing a wide array
of issues, including anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns.
Case Management seeks to provide services that foster growth, development, and success
by assisting with areas related to mental health, emotional well-being, and safety
by providing outreach, resources, referrals, advocacy, and follow up services.
Counseling services for KSU Faculty and Staff is provided thru the HR Employee Assistance
Workshops and Programs, Interviews and Class Projects, Classroom Presentations.
