Counseling & Psychological Services offers a variety of counseling services for currently
enrolled KSU students. Based on the recommendation of the American Psychological Association
and the Association for University and College Counseling Center Directors, we will
continue to provide all services primarily via telemental health for Fall 2020. Please

Please note that per Georgia Law, students under the age of 18 will need parent/guardian consent in order to receive counseling services.
Deciding which services best fits your needs begins with a Let's Hoot Initial Consultation. During this meeting, the student and counseling therapist determine which services
would be most helpful to you. Potential options can include a referral to a group,
brief individual counseling, or referral to a community provider. Our counseling
services are free to currently enrolled students attending classes in the current
semester. Clinical Service options include:
Group counseling provides a safe and effective environment where you can learn about
yourself and how you function in relationships.
We offer short-term, goal focused counseling to currently enrolled students.
Counseling and Psychological Services will provide couples counseling if both members
of the couple are currently enrolled students attending classes in the current semester.
Psychiatric clinicians are available to assist students experiencing a wide array
of issues, including anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns.
Case Management seeks to provide services that foster growth, development, and success
by assisting with areas related to mental health, emotional well-being, and safety
by providing outreach, resources, referrals, advocacy, and follow up services.
The HEAL Team is a multi-departmental and multi-disciplinary team that collaborates
to provide the appropriate level of assessment, intervention, support, and/or referrals
for KSU students who present with eating and/or body image concerns.
We are looking for highly motivated students interested in supporting campus wide
mental health awareness initiatives.
